KB24 is M-V-P. So, what?! The LA Lakers won't easily get a win at the EnergySolutions Arena where the Utah Jazz rule. And they [Jazz] have really proven that with a 104-99 win against the Lakers on Game 3. Carlos Boozer provided a stunning double-double with 27 points and 20 boards [I think he's turned into a monster]. "I tried to stop thinking so much out there. My teammates were waiting for a big game out of me and I was too," said Boozer. Mehmet Okur [??] added 22 points with Deron Williams following him with 18 points and 12 assists. The Jazz definitely played their best. And the EnerySolutions' crowd? They're much like the crowd of Planet Orange [Phoenix Suns], they're very LOUD! The reason why I still have a question mark on Okur was because he wasn't brilliant on last season's playoffs. I just can't believe that it's really him that's playing exceptionally well or just a doppelganger. I really don't know. Despite the Jazz' win, the Lakers still lead the series to 2-1. I'd love to see the Jazz win this series and the Spurs too.

But as far as I can see KB24 & Co. are giving the Jazz a hard time specially during the first two games. “We competed very hard, much better than we did over there," said Jazz coach, Jerry Sloan. So, basically the Jazz are experiencing what the Spurs are going through. But what can I say, the four teams that are left in the Western Conference semis are among the best this season. It's just amazing how tough the West is and that the top four teams are the ones left vying to get to the Finals.

Difficult Times Lie Ahead

After losing to the New Orleans Hornets [32-12], the San Antonio Spurs [28-15] has to deal with another loss against the Utah Jazz [27-18]. The Spurs' game against the Hornets was troublesome. Very troublesome. The Hornets were shooting 3's and the Spurs clearly wasn't shooting well with 10.0% beyond the arc. Peja Stojacovic looks like he's just in practice and most of his 3's look effortless. I watched the game, okay. So, I witnessed the downfall of the Spurs to the Hornets. "It was a really big win for us," said Chris Paul. Enough with the Hornets-Spurs game. Let's just go down to Spurs visit to the EnergySolutions Arena, Salt Lake City, UT.

The Utah Jazz overpowered and handed the San Antonio Spurs' second straight loss, 97-91. The Spurs really have a serious problem offensively. Tony Parker, I think, was someplace else with only 5 pts. "(Tony) definitely doesn't have the same explosion. He's still trying to find his total focus back and get his heel healthy," said Gregg Popovich. Manu Ginobili [29 pts] and Tim Duncan [26 pts, 11 rebs] did great but wasn't really enough to win against the Jazz. Carlos Boozer had 23 pts, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists. Deron Williams had done his job very well with 11 pts and 14 rebounds. The Jazz played really physical this time against the Spurs.

The Jazz, Sonics, Suns*, Pacers, Wizards, Knicks, Celtics, Raptors, Cavaliers road games all sum up to the difficult times that lie ahead for the San Antonio Spurs. I am also expecting that when the Spurs meet the Washington Wizards, Agent Zero will be back on his jersey.

Yes. The San Antonio Spurs has won against the Utah Jazz without Tim Duncan. The starting lineup of the Utah Jazz included Deron Williams, Ronnie Brewer, Carlos Boozer, Andrei Kirilenko, & Mehmet Okur. The San Antonio Spurs on the other hand has placed Manu Ginobili back to the bench and started with Tony Parker, Michael Finley, Francisco Elson, Bruce Bowen, and Matt Bonner. By halftime, the Jazz led by only a point, 51-50. But then came the 4th quarter, the Spurs got into their rhythm, outscoring the Jazz and winning 104-98. As expected, Manu Ginobili excelled with 37pts, 6 assists, 3 steals [which he does very well], and oh! a block. Fabricio Oberto led the Spurs in rebounds having a total of 11. And Michael Finley, back as a starter, contributed to the Spurs win by having 15pts, four of which were 3-pointers. And Tony Parker? Well, he was in a bad shooting mood but still added 16pts and 7 assists, not bad. Winning against the Jazz at the AT&T Center meant a 12-0 record at home for the Spurs. Kampai!!

Carlos Boozer and Deron Williams each had 28pts. I guess the Jazz duo weren't enough to beat even a Duncan-less Spurs. So, has the Utah Jazz measured their aptitude after losing to the San Antonio Spurs "without" Tim Duncan? I bet they had. Regardless of the Jazz' loss to the Duncan-less Spurs, they were more determined and skilled now than the Jazz who faced the Spurs during last season's Western Conference Finals. Maybe next year, January 28, 2008, the Utah Jazz would be able to beat the Spurs in the EnergySolutions Arena. To the fans, just don't throw stuffs okay?
